GreenGeeks, an INC 5000 fastest-growing web hosting company, is looking for passionate and technically skilled individuals to join their team as Level 2 Technical Support agents. The role requires a high degree of expertise in web hosting technologies and customer service skills. Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience with cPanel, WHM, and CentOS at a root level. Up-to-date certifications such as cPanel CWA & CWSA-1 or equivalents from RedHat, CompTIA, AWS are required. The candidate should understand various hosting products including Shared, Reseller, and VPS hosting. Advanced knowledge of web hosting components like CentOS, cPanel & WHM, MySQL, and Firewalls is necessary. Familiarity with open source software such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla is important. Key responsibilities include diagnosing HTTP error codes, DNS Zone configuration, FTP connection, email client setup, PHP error diagnosis, MySQL configuration, cron-job setup, and other common cPanel tasks. The candidate must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and be comfortable communicating with customers via phone, ticket, and live chat. Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. The role involves inbound Level 2 support via ticket and phone with potential documentation writing duties.
