In 2008, Schiwek co-founded Domain Invest, a domain marketplace that would go on to shape his future in the domain name industry. Domain Invest focused on acquiring, selling, and developing premium domain names, and Schiwek played an instrumental role in driving its growth.
Schiwek made headlines in 2010 when he sold the premium domain name VooDoo.com to Donny Simonton of Parked.com for $300,000, having originally purchased it for just $31,000. This lucrative sale highlighted Schiwek’s sharp business acumen and deep understanding of the domain market.
The Hosting Industry and Zonat Sarl
Schiwek’s next major move came in 2012 when he founded Hosting.co.uk as part of Domain Invest. The platform quickly grew, gaining recognition in the competitive UK hosting market. Schiwek’s ability to scale businesses in the tech and hosting space was further demonstrated in 2018 when he separated Hosting.co.uk from Domain Invest and established it as an independent entity.
