As a Senior Network Security Analyst at GoDaddy, you will lead the Firewall Operations Team, driving security initiatives to maintain a secure and efficient infrastructure environment. The role involves managing and completing Firewall ACL requests, leading network security projects, performing in-depth firewall log analysis using tools such as Splunk, and implementing security measures across cloud environments including AWS and Azure. You will automate network security processes with Python scripting to improve operational efficiencies and maintain compliance with industry standards such as PCI DSS, NIST, and ISO 27001. The role requires mentoring junior team members and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and repositories, contributing to a collaborative work environment. Participation in 16×5 operations coverage and 24/7 on-call rotation is expected. Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in network security with strong expertise in PaloAlto or Juniper SRX Firewalls, cloud network protection, and security architecture. Skills in Python automation, Infrastructure as Code, Zero Trust principles, CICD, Linux/bash scripting, and relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CCIE – Security, JNCIE-SEC, CISSP, or CCSP are highly desirable.
