Your responsibilities will include hands-on work with bare metal, virtual machines, and container orchestration platforms. You will develop automation solutions to eliminate manual tasks, build scalable systems to support rapid growth, and collaborate closely with Security, DevOps, and Development teams. Your expertise will be critical in resolving complex Linux issues and developing proactive monitoring systems to catch problems early. Ideal candidates have at least one year of professional experience in Linux administration at scale and proficiency with configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, or Chef. Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or KVM, container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and monitoring system implementation is required. Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python, networking fundamentals, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code are essential. Additional desirable skills include cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), storage and database administration, web server configuration, open source contributions, high-availability system development, and relevant Linux certifications.
