The Senior Software Engineer at GoDaddy will be responsible for owning and developing the Customer Engagement Platform Data Pipeline and integrating it with internal and external systems. The role involves ensuring data platform observability with comprehensive system monitoring, platform availability, and reporting across the entire data pipeline. Candidates will work on designing and building a platform critical to customer experience, marketing, and business objectives, focusing on data accuracy, timeliness, and security. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing professionals, QA, and operations, to deliver high-quality software solutions using agile methodologies. Required skills include 5+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years of AWS experience, knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, Fargate, ECS, S3, SQS, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, RDS, Athena, and Glue. Proficiency in programming languages like C# and Python, SQL, and Spark is essential. Candidates should have a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, coding standards, and design patterns, with experience in RESTful and GraphQL APIs. DevOps skills, including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Docker, CI/CD, and container orchestration, are a plus. This role requires a minimum three-hour overlap with the US Pacific time zone to coordinate with team members.
