As a WordPress Developer in the WordPress Premium Support team at GoDaddy, your primary responsibility is to assist customers with fast, professional, and expert WordPress service. This role requires managing technical aspects of WordPress, including user interface troubleshooting with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, ensuring high efficiency in WordPress management, and performing theme and plugin audits to resolve conflicts. You will install plugins and themes, administer MySQL databases, and serve as a liaison for GoDaddy call center employees regarding WordPress issues. Providing excellent customer service via email and ticket systems, you will follow up timely and empathetically on customer issues. Communication across departments at various organizational levels is essential to resolve problems efficiently. You must have at least 2 years of WordPress experience, be comfortable with debugging tools across browsers, and perform CSS modifications to maintain style consistency. Experience with WooCommerce and add-ons, website speed optimization, understanding of MySQL and phpMyAdmin, and basic knowledge of SSH are advantageous. Patience and determination to assist less technical customers are important. Experience using ticket systems and working toward KPIs and Net Promoter Scores (NPS) would be beneficial. The role works on 24/7 rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends, supporting a remote work model with occasional office visits. $20 hourly + bonus, annual $90K-$100K+
