As a Mid System Engineer on the Storage team, you will manage and evolve Hostinger’s storage infrastructure, handling provisioning, scaling, configuring, monitoring, automating, and troubleshooting storage systems to maintain optimal performance and reliability. You will work closely with product and infrastructure teams to provide a seamless, robust environment supporting global services. Your key responsibilities include setting up and configuring new CEPH servers, scaling storage systems to meet growing data demands, designing and implementing optimized storage solutions, monitoring infrastructure performance and capacity, automating storage tasks using Ansible, troubleshooting storage issues to maintain data integrity and uptime, optimizing system performance and scalability, collaborating with product teams for tailored storage solutions, and seeking innovative improvements to tools and workflows. Required skills include advanced Linux expertise (Debian, Red Hat), hands-on experience with distributed storage systems (CEPH, GlusterFS), design and optimization skills, performance monitoring, automation proficiency, troubleshooting, backup and recovery knowledge, monitoring and alerting experience, commitment to SLOs, innovation, and effective communication in Lithuanian and English. Compensation starts from 5000 EUR gross monthly, based on experience and qualifications.
