As a Senior Product & Regulatory Lawyer at Hostinger, you will be an integral part of the Legal team, tasked with ensuring that Hostingers products and features comply with relevant laws and industry standards by proactively assessing legal risks, reviewing new developments, providing strategic guidance, drafting and reviewing contracts, and developing internal policies to support business objectives. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to craft legally compliant and business-friendly solutions, ensuring regulatory adherence while supporting innovation and growth. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legislation such as the Digital Services Act (DSA), Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Misleading and Comparative Advertising Directive, and cybersecurity best practices. You will work closely with fast-paced teams to assess legal risks and develop compliant solutions, responding effectively to business stakeholders legal requests in a manner that balances compliance with business objectives. Staying current on legal and regulatory developments in relevant industries is crucial, requiring you to undertake necessary actions as required. You will develop and update internal procedures and documents to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations, especially those pertinent to the hosting and domain industries. Drafting, reviewing, evaluating, negotiating, and supporting various ongoing commercial contracts such as software, technology, marketing, and vendor agreements will be part of your duties, alongside creating and maintaining standard agreements and processes that streamline legal support for everyday tasks. Additionally, you will engage in special projects, legal team initiatives, organizational tasks, and efforts related to legal prevention and compliance. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Masters degree in Law (LL.M.) with at least 8 years of relevant experience, ideally as in-house counsel or in a law firm within the tech sector. Proficiency in providing legal guidance across diverse legal matters, skillful navigation through ambiguity, task prioritization, and collaboration across multiple teams is expected. Strong legal risk assessment capabilities that integrate business strategy awareness along with meticulous attention to detail will enhance your performance. Curiosity and the ability to investigate unfamiliar issues thoroughly, combined with excellent organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, are essential. Fluency in Lithuanian and English both orally and in writing is mandatory, and experience with regulatory or intellectual property law matters is advantageous.
