Hostinger is searching for a skilled System Engineer passionate about building and maintaining large-scale infrastructure for their email platform which serves millions of active users and handles petabytes of data with hundreds of millions of messages monthly. The candidate will be part of a fast-growing infrastructure team, responsible for research and development to implement cutting-edge technologies, feature development for the email product, performance optimization to enhance scalability, managing infrastructure through automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef, and overseeing physical and virtual servers across on-premises and cloud environments. They will develop monitoring and alerting systems, participate in incident management, and contribute to continuous improvement practices. The role requires a minimum of 3 years experience in managing Linux systems with technical proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools. Programming knowledge in GoLang, PHP, Python, or Bash is essential. A proactive and collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills is expected. Nice-to-have skills include extensive experience with cloud operations and email infrastructure protocols such as IMAP, POP, SMTP, and LMTP.
