As a Senior Security Engineer at GoDaddy, you will join our Product Security group and take on important security challenges across the organization. Your role will involve identifying security threats and vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure, providing mentorship to system owners for remediation, and collaborating with SRE and development teams to find innovative ways to reduce vulnerabilities at scale. You will have the opportunity to build repeatable and reusable security processes and frameworks. This position requires a strong hands-on technical background, along with leadership skills to craft scalable solutions to complex problems. You will be expected to communicate effectively with engineering teams, perform security assessments, and prioritize security risks while implementing high-quality security engineering solutions. Your experience should encompass expertise in security engineering aligning with compliance requirements, secure code reviews, and a hands-on approach to penetration testing. You should have 4+ years of security engineering experience in multiple domains including security architecture, network security, and cloud security, among others. Familiarity with scripting or development in languages like Python, C, or Java is essential. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, with additional qualifications in the form of a Master’s or PhD being a plus.
