We are looking for a skilled Engineering Manager (Data Platform) who will lead a strong team of Data engineers and will help to revolutionize how we use data to inform and aid strategic business decisions. You’ll also contribute to building and improving a robust data platform architecture. Last but not least, together with the Data Platform team you’ll create and maintain data models so our teams can easily access and analyze data. You’ll be lending your skills and knowledge to various projects, helping engineers grow. Your day-to-day involves team management, collaboration with other leads, project management, continuous improvement, problem resolution, architecture design, code review, and staying updated with the latest data technologies. You should have over 5 years of hands-on development experience and 2 years in a leadership role with a strong backend-focused engineering background. Leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively and foster a positive work environment. Nice to have skills include familiarity with specific technology stacks and CloudOps experience.
