As a Cyber Security Engineer at Hostinger, you will be part of the Cyber Security team responsible for ensuring the safety of products and processes by identifying emerging cyber threats and implementing effective solutions. You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and product teams to detect vulnerabilities proactively. Key responsibilities include managing and optimizing SIEM, EDR, and CDR tools; writing custom detection rules; automating incident response workflows with SOAR tools; building secure configurations with Terraform and Ansible; configuring WAF, vulnerability scanners, and dependency trackers; applying CIS Benchmarks and hardening standards; monitoring and securing GCP infrastructure; managing PAM solutions and access controls; collaborating on secure-by-design improvements; hunting for misconfigurations; optimizing tooling; automating tasks; and staying updated on emerging threats. Required skills include Linux system security, 2+ years in security engineering, strong SIEM/EDR/IR workflow experience, Terraform and Ansible knowledge, familiarity with GCP and cloud security tools, incident response skills, knowledge of WAF, PAM, vulnerability scanners, scripting in Python or Bash, and advanced English communication. Preferred qualifications include SOAR platform experience, Sigma/YARA knowledge, MITRE ATT&CK understanding, container security, and cybersecurity certifications.
