At Web Hosting Canada (WHC), the Product Manager, WordPress & Websites role is designed for those passionate about shaping the future of online presence for entrepreneurs, creators, and small businesses. This role involves owning the full strategy and delivery of website products including Managed WordPress and website builder solutions, focusing not just on shipping features but creating intuitive, performant, and scalable platforms. Reporting to the CEO, the Product Manager will collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, Designers, Marketers, and the community to deliver impactful products. The role is hybrid, based in Montreal’s Little Italy with remote flexibility but may require on-site presence for key events. Key responsibilities include defining and championing product vision and strategy aligned with WHC’s mission, integrating AI to enhance user experience, tackling complex product challenges, representing WHC in WordPress and open source communities, managing the full product lifecycle using Shape Up methodology, conducting market and customer research, coordinating cross-functional teams for feature launches, partnering with leadership on pricing and positioning, and managing strategic partner relationships. Candidates should exhibit problem-solving skills, builder mentality, WordPress expertise, curiosity about AI impacts, 3-5 years in product management preferably in WordPress or related tech ecosystems, proficiency with tools like Jira and Figma, and bilingual abilities in English and French or comfort in multilingual environments.
