As a Senior Backend Software Engineer on the Horizons team, based in Vilnius or Kaunas, you will design, develop, and own backend systems and APIs using Node.js that power the innovative Horizons vibe coding platform. Your responsibilities include building powerful, scalable, and resilient backend services, optimizing API and database performance, integrating third-party APIs, and collaborating closely with frontend developers, product managers, and engineers. You will take ownership of backend features and services, making architectural decisions with guidance from senior engineers while writing tested, documented, and scalable code that delivers real business value.
