Hostinger is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Finance team located in Vilnius / Kaunas, Lithuania. This role is integral to ensuring smooth financial operations including processing and verifying invoices for multiple entities, managing and tracking open cases such as missing invoices and payment discrepancies, and performing payment allocations with precision. The specialist will be responsible for bank entry controls to verify transaction accuracy, managing month-end close procedures including accruals, interest calculations, and reconciliations, and handling fixed asset processing such as depreciation, asset movements, and inventory controls. Additional tasks include reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance, supporting audit activities by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries, and preparing accounting data for various internal expense reports to aid further financial reporting. The role involves collaboration with the AP Manager on ad-hoc projects, process improvement initiatives, and system or workflow enhancements. Candidates should have higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields, with at least two years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles. Essential skills include problem-solving, attention to detail, effective communication, adaptability to new tools and systems, proactive teamwork, and motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken, is required.
