As an Accounting Analyst at GoDaddy, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating financial data, maintaining internal controls, and supporting month-end closing processes. This role involves working with employees across various functions and levels to ensure data accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and SOX standards. You will prepare monthly journal entries, conduct subledger maintenance, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze accounts timely and effectively. Your expertise will be key in supporting GL accounting projects and facilitating internal and external financial reporting. The position focuses on continuous process automation and improvement, requiring proactive problem-solving skills. The role may be designated as hybrid or fully remote, with occasional office visits as needed. Candidates must reside in the US excluding Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, the Virgin Islands, California, Seattle, and NYC. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, strong auditing skills, advanced Excel knowledge, and familiarity with Big 4 audit processes or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, and CPA certification is advantageous. $20 hourly + bonus, annual $90K-$100K+
