GoDaddy is seeking a Software Engineering Manager with expertise in User Experience (UX) to lead their UX-focused engineering team and oversee the development of user-centric software solutions. This role involves collaborating with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineering teams to translate design vision into scalable software, driving UX engineering best practices such as accessibility, responsiveness, and performance optimization. The manager will ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end technologies to enhance user experience, develop strategies to improve usability and customer engagement, and stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies. Responsibilities also include brand experience migrations, SSL experience uplift, and integration of new security capabilities within hosting to ensure intuitive and valuable features for users. Candidates should have 6+ years of software engineering experience including 3+ years in leadership, strong expertise in front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, Next.JS, Node.JS, backend development and API integration skills, and a deep understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and accessibility standards such as WCAG and ARIA. The ideal candidate also has excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, experience working in Agile and cross-functional environments, and familiarity with design systems, data-driven UX decision-making, AI-driven UX enhancements, and experimentation frameworks including A/B testing.
