As an Endpoint Security Engineer at GoDaddy Information Security’s Enterprise & Infrastructure Security organization, you will be responsible for deploying and managing Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) technology across diverse environments including on-premises, public cloud, and managed workstations. You will also deploy and manage agent-based and network-based vulnerability scanners to support the Vulnerability Management program. Acting as a primary point of resolution, you will handle complex security issues affecting workforce members and security controls related to customer or partner concerns, collaborating cross-functionally to diagnose, resolve, and document solutions that ensure operational reliability and a positive user experience. Additionally, you will build and operate support processes that minimize disruption for system administrators and internal collaborators. The role includes joining forces with Security Operations and Incident Response teams to assist in responding to security incidents, including participating in rotational on-call duties. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations within large-scale environments, hands-on experience with modern endpoint protection technologies such as EDR, strong communication skills capable of conveying complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and Linux administration and scripting expertise (Python, Bash, etc.). Relevant certifications like CISSP or CCNA and familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban are advantageous.
