As the Director of Government Relations (US) at GoDaddy, you will serve as the primary liaison to US policymakers, shaping advocacy strategies and managing relationships with Congress, federal agencies, and the White House. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate and Government Affairs, you will analyze regulatory trends, brief senior leaders, and coordinate advocacy campaigns that align with company objectives. Your role includes cultivating connections with federal and state leaders, representing GoDaddy at public and industry events, and collaborating with external partners to extend policy reach. You will build and lead industry alliances, oversee participation in standards bodies, and report engagement outcomes to executive leadership. Additionally, you will mentor the Senior Manager for Government Relations (Europe/Global) to ensure global policy alignment and contribute to cross-regional advocacy efforts. The position requires 8+ years of government relations experience, including at least 5 years focusing on US federal policy with a technology or telecommunications emphasis and a familiarity with international policy frameworks. Effective communication skills, leadership experience, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally are essential.
