GoDaddy’s Domain Name Aftermarket is the largest premium domain reseller in the industry, and they are seeking elite sales talent to join their team in Shanghai, China. The role involves handling inbound leads and calls from businesses and individuals interested in acquiring premium domain names, which are domains that have already been registered and listed for sale by their owners. The sales environment is fast-paced, and representatives are encouraged to own their book of business. Responsibilities include quickly reaching out to inbound leads to build rapport with prospective buyers, using coaching and training to improve selling skills, becoming a domain name specialist to advise customers on acquiring the best domains for their projects, thriving in a dynamic sales environment with frequent sales closures, building a proven book of repeat clients, and being a positive team player upholding GoDaddy’s values of being extraordinary, owning outcomes, working fearlessly, joining forces, and living passionately. The required experience includes being highly skilled in listening, writing, and speaking in both Mandarin and English, having an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to build relationships and close sales with a range of clients from sole proprietors to C-level executives, high motivation to exceed sales goals, critical thinking skills for organizing time and priorities, multitasking, attention to detail, and proficiency with digital literacy and software such as Outlook, Salesforce, Word, and Excel. The position is full-time, office-based in Shanghai, and requires living within commuting distance of the office.
