The team focuses on delivering a seamless, innovative, and consistent user interface that supports and inspires prospective and current customers. This is a remote role based in British Columbia, Canada, although occasional visits to the office may be required. The candidate will develop new customer-facing features leveraging AI tools, ReactJS, TypeScript, and other modern front-end technologies. Responsibilities include enhancing user surfaces by implementing innovative solutions, identifying and solving complex system issues to provide incremental business value, and adhering to high software development standards including code quality, test automation, and security best practices. The role requires development of reusable React components backed by a CMS and continuous enhancement of platform UI patterns. The engineer will also lead release and on-call activities to support platform robustness. Candidates should have more than four years of experience with NodeJS, React, and TypeScript, and be skilled in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with Agile methodologies is required. Preferred skills include knowledge of AWS, Docker, testing tools like Jest/Cypress, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub actions. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and LLM Studio is a plus.
