At GoDaddy, the Principal Product Manager – Commerce will lead the direct segment within the Go-to-Market Solutions product team, focusing on SMBs purchasing Point of Sale, Payments, and Commerce products. This role requires defining the omnichannel product strategy that encompasses online, mobile, social, and in-person sales channels. The successful candidate will serve as the voice of merchants, translating customer workflows into strategic product opportunities, and collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams including Commerce Web, Mobile, POS, and Payments. Responsibilities include developing direct segment strategies and roadmaps for retail, service, and hybrid verticals, championing seamless omnichannel merchant workflows, and identifying friction points and whitespace opportunities to enhance product offerings. The role demands translating customer insights into actionable roadmap inputs, producing strategic briefs and vertical playbooks, and influencing broader product portfolios to align with real merchant needs. The Principal Product Manager will also drive product discovery, operationalize strategic alignment among Engineering, Design, and GTM teams, and lead the monitoring of segment-specific performance metrics like activation, retention, attach rate, and NPS. Collaboration with teams to leverage customer insights for onboarding, support, pricing, packaging, and messaging is also critical. Candidates should have over 8 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in SMB retail, commerce, or FinTech platforms supporting multi-channel merchant operations. A deep understanding of merchant workflows and a proven record in segmenting markets, defining vertical strategies, and building effective roadmaps is essential. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, customer-focused product discovery, and agile execution to drive SMB growth and satisfaction. $20 hourly + bonus, annual $90K-$100K+
