As a Senior Software Development Engineer at GoDaddy, you will be hands-on in delivering well-factored, well-tested, reusable code for the Search Results team, enhancing customer experiences by helping them find the right domain names and services. You will write efficient, maintainable TypeScript code with comprehensive unit and integration testing, participate in planning, architecting, implementing, and maintaining both client-side and server-side codebases. Responsibilities include peer code reviews, establishing high coding standards, continuous codebase improvement, and taking full ownership of deliverables to minimize DevOps incidents. You’ll also contribute to open-source projects, mentor junior developers through coaching and pair programming, and foster a culture of experimentation and knowledge sharing. Required experience includes 5+ years of professional software development with a strong understanding of core web technologies such as Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript (ES2015+), CSS3, and HTML5, experience with modern JS/front-end frameworks like React or Angular, and familiarity with DevOps, deployment systems like GitHub actions, webpack, Docker, AWS, and Artifactory. Additional desirable skills include performance profiling and optimization, vibe coding tools like Cursor AI, open-source management, and experimentation systems such as A/B testing.
