GoDaddy is seeking a Security Detections Engineer who will play a pivotal role in identifying security threats within the organization’s infrastructure. Leveraging advanced tools and methodologies, your expertise in detection engineering will help safeguard GoDaddy’s assets and ensure the integrity of information systems. Responsibilities include operating and managing a scalable Splunk Environment, developing custom dashboards, reports, alerts, and correlation searches to support security operations, and supporting compliance and audit requirements by maintaining documentation and generating reports. You will collaborate with security architects and engineers to evaluate, test, and implement new security technologies and solutions, conduct proactive threat hunting to identify potential security threats across networks, systems, and applications, and develop playbooks and automations to optimize operational workflows. Candidates should have strong proficiency with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk ES, familiarity with AWS security services, experience researching TTPs and developing high fidelity detections, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a minimum of 4 years of cybersecurity experience. Preferred qualifications include incident response experience and skills in PowerShell and Python coding related to security.
