As Corporate Counsel – Employment at GoDaddy, you will be responsible for advising and handling employment matters primarily focused on international law with a significant focus on India. Your duties will include providing mentorship and guidance on People Operations functions, managing employment litigation and outside counsel, negotiating and drafting employment policies and agreements, and assisting with internal investigations and compliance. You will provide preventive legal advice on labor and employment laws including wrongful termination, discrimination, benefits, accommodations, and more. This role involves managing complex projects and providing business-oriented legal counsel to support the People Operations and business teams globally. Candidates must hold an LL.B. with preferred LL.M. or equivalent, have at least 7 years of legal experience in employment law, and possess extensive knowledge of international employment laws. Strong communication skills and business insight are essential, as is the ability to use AI tools for efficiency.
