As a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer in GoDaddy Information Securitys Enterprise & Infrastructure Security organization, your role involves leading the deployment, optimization, and architecture of Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) technology across diverse environments including on-premises, cloud, and managed environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and future growth. You will build, implement, and continuously improve agent-based and network-based vulnerability management processes, establish guidelines, and drive adoption across teams. Acting as the main contact for complex security issues, you will address customer concerns, resolve blockers across teams, and implement balanced solutions to enhance both operational reliability and user experience. Your leadership extends to mentoring and guiding junior engineers, promoting guidelines, leading design reviews, establishing repeatable processes and automation, and contributing to internal open source and technology working groups. Influencing architectural strategy and team roadmap, you will communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, champion workforce-centric security solutions, and represent GoDaddy in internal and external security forums. The ideal candidate should have 7+ years in security engineering or operations within large-scale, complex environments, proven experience deploying and optimizing endpoint protection technologies (EDR, vulnerability management), strong Linux administration, scripting skills (Python, Bash), and deep knowledge of networking, cloud security, and service provider environments. Skills in troubleshooting, incident response, and conducting post-mortem analysis are essential. Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban and experience leading agile ceremonies and design reviews are required. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, or equivalents, and experience presenting at industry conferences or contributing to security research are a plus. GoDaddy emphasizes a diverse and inclusive culture, providing paid time off, retirement savings, bonuses, equity grants, health benefits, parental leave, and support for entrepreneurial spirits. The role is fully remote with occasional visits to the office for team events or meetings, supporting a flexible work environment aligned with GoDaddy’s mission to empower entrepreneurs worldwide.
