As a Senior Finance Workday Specialist at GoDaddy, you will own the design, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Financials, focusing primarily on Accounting Center-based integrations and journal automation. You will build and maintain source-to-ledger mappings, transformation rules, validations, and reconciliation logic to ensure accurate SOX-compliant financial postings. Partner with Accounting to enhance month-end and quarter-end close efficiency by reducing manual journal effort and improving close-readiness processes. Provide senior-level production support for critical close processes, including troubleshooting posting and integration issues and deploying durable root-cause fixes. Collaborate extensively with Finance, CorpTech, Data, and the Workday Security team to ensure appropriate access controls, system reliability, and governance alignment. Maintain and enhance Workday configuration including business processes, FDM, validations, and reporting, supporting upgrades, deployments, and continuous platform improvements. The role requires 8+ years of experience in Finance Systems, Accounting, or Business Systems roles with strong hands-on expertise in Workday Financials components such as FDM, Business Process Framework, Report Writer, and Accounting Center. Experience supporting SOX-compliant finance systems and close processes is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proven collaboration with cross-functional teams across the US and India and exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. ERP implementation or finance transformation experience is preferred. Additional desirable skills include experience building or supporting solutions using Workday Extend, familiarity with Prism Analytics or downstream reporting tools, and exposure to finance process automation or integration-heavy environments. This fully remote role excludes Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, and the Virgin Islands and requires occasional office visits for events or meetings.
