As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at GoDaddy, you will be integral in building and maintaining a cutting-edge eCommerce platform, collaborating with multinational development teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance. You will design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate application and platform deployments and take ownership of enhancing the release process for scalability and efficiency across distributed environments. Your role involves deploying and supporting new infrastructure components, providing operational support for production updates and hotfixes across products including Poynt terminals and cloud services. Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and business teams, you will coordinate release schedules to ensure timely, reliable delivery. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and participate in on-call rotations to maintain system reliability and operational excellence. Required experience includes over 4 years with Kubernetes across platforms such as EKS, AKS, GKE, and Fargate, extensive hands-on AWS experience in cloud-native and agnostic settings, Linux administration expertise, and strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Ruby. Proficiency in coding infrastructure as code with tools like Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, and CDK is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, version control systems, and testing tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, and Maven, along with hands-on SQL database experience, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL, is valued. You should also possess a solid understanding of networking principles and cybersecurity best practices, with the ability to work independently under pressure. GoDaddy values diversity, equity, and inclusion, offering comprehensive benefits including paid time off, retirement savings plans, bonuses, equity grants, health benefits, and family-friendly policies. The role is remote but may occasionally require office visits. GoDaddy is committed to equal opportunity employment and provides resources for applicants with criminal histories, emphasizing an inclusive culture that empowers entrepreneurs globally.
