Join GoDaddy as a Site Reliability Manager for WordPress, supporting platform engineering efforts to evolve a next-generation hosting architecture utilizing modern technologies, scalable design principles, and AI-driven innovation. Lead a team building and extending a high-scale, cost-efficient, secure hosting platform. Drive modernization through cloud-native architecture, automation, and developer experience best practices. Integrate AI and agentic capabilities into platform components. Collaborate across product, security, and operations teams to deliver new features and maintain compliance. Mentor engineers in platform expertise and emerging technologies. Support infrastructure initiatives beyond WordPress platform and leverage automation for high performance. Ideal candidates have proven leadership in platform engineering for large-scale hosting/cloud platforms, expertise in cost, performance, security, and scalability, strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, OpenStack), automation, developer tooling, and experience with AI/ML integration and intelligent automation. Familiarity with WordPress and modern stacks is preferred. Knowledge of technologies including AI (MCPs, LLMs), orchestration tools (HashiCorp Nomad, Docker), networking (AWS NLB), storage solutions (EBS CSI, FSx), observability (Prometheus, Grafana), databases (etcd, Redis), application tech (nginx unit, PHP), IaC/config tools (Terraform, Ansible), and security tools (SELinux, Illumio) is a plus.
