As a Software Development Engineer II at GoDaddy, you will play a crucial role in our Legal Technology Engineering team, where you will help provide a robust technology platform for our analysts, attorneys, and fulfilment teams. In this hybrid role, you’ll be expected to resolve production issues detected by monitoring systems or customer support tickets in a timely manner. You’ll collaborate with your team and other departments to create reusable software solutions that align with business initiatives and design patterns. Your responsibilities will include participating in agile ceremonies, developing and deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to technical documentation and code reviews. You will drive initiatives to reduce technical debt and ensure a strong technical foundation by participating in AI and Security hackathons. Furthermore, you’ll design, develop, and maintain microservices-based platforms deployed on AWS, and investigate production issues while ensuring on-call responsibilities are met. Your experience should include at least 4 years in software engineering, particularly with large-scale applications and RESTful API development. You’ll also need expertise in Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Python, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and DevOps practices. Additional experience with Elastic Search and API integration will be beneficial.
