The UX Engineer role at GoDaddy is a remote position based in India, aimed at bridging the gap between UX design and code development by focusing on front-end, UX development and design. The engineer is expected to have expertise in UX/UI design, CSS3, HTML5, React, JavaScript, and their implementation across modern browsers. The role involves collaborating with UX designers, researchers, and engineers to implement user-centered front-end solutions and polished features, developing and refining prototypes and components using modern front-end technologies, paying close attention to design details, and applying data-driven thinking to solve user problems. The engineer will identify potential roadblocks early in the design and development process, contribute to smooth project delivery, participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, maintain sprint objectives, and engage promptly in code reviews and pull requests. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, React, and JavaScript, 1+ years in a UX, design, or related technical environment with familiarity with design tools like Figma or Sketch, understanding of design fundamentals and accessibility standards (A–AA compliance), experience with Git/GitHub, basic unit testing and automation, and the ability to debug front-end issues across environments, knowledge of CSS transitions/animations, and experience contributing to design systems or component libraries. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, knowledge of user-centered design principles and iterative design processes, understanding of how technical limitations impact design decisions, good communication skills, and experience working in cross-functional team environments are advantageous.
