Job Description

As a data-driven company, GoDaddy seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer for its Strategic Finance team within Finance Data, Analytics, and Technology. The role focuses on optimizing the power of data insights and automation solutions, enabling capabilities around technology, data, and people to improve efficiency and scalability. The candidate will work on building highly customized data structures for rapid analytics and visualization, performing data automation tasks using tools like Amazon Redshift, Spectrum, S3, SQL Server, Teradata, Athena, and ETL administration tools. Acting as a specialist in technical implementation for novel data products, the role involves structuring data sets and workflows for high efficiency and performance, optimizing workflows from database layers to visualization layers including Tableau and QuickSight tuning. Responsibilities include building end-to-end reporting solutions from multiple data sources, supporting enterprise-wide dashboards and custom reporting, and documenting work products adhering to data governance standards set by the core data engineering team. The position requires 5+ years in data engineering and analytics, strong SQL and Python skills, familiarity with AWS stack, Teradata, MSSQL, and experience balancing speed and quality in project execution. The analyst must have experience with Tableau, superb communication to translate business needs into executable requirements, and the ability to collaborate across teams on technical and business discussions.
