As a WordPress Advanced Support Guide at GoDaddy, you will provide first-contact resolution through chat and other channels to GoDaddy hosting and WordPress customers. Your primary responsibilities include answering customer inquiries related to GoDaddy products and services, providing consultations on new purchases, cross-selling additional products, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will work with multiple systems such as Chat, CRM, JSD, and Live Engage. Your technical duties involve guiding customers through control panels like cPanel, Plesk, and GoDaddy custom interfaces, as well as resolving hosting issues using FTP, MySQL databases, and SSH in Linux and Windows environments. Additionally, you will contribute feedback to improve processes and procedures to reduce customer concerns. You must possess advanced knowledge of WordPress, including plugins, themes, and common error resolution, along with the ability to navigate and edit content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal. Ideal candidates have experience in sales or small business operations and can adapt quickly to a dynamic environment. You will be working remotely with occasional visits to GoDaddy offices for meetings or events. This role involves close collaboration across departments and upholding the company’s customer service standards of quality and production.
