GoDaddy is looking for a Workday Systems Engineer to function as the lead and SME supporting global Payroll configurations within Workday. This role involves working in an agile environment with a team resolving complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include maintaining Workday application configurations focusing on Global Payroll, including business processes, calibration tasks, custom reports, validations, condition rules, and calculated fields. The engineer collaborates with business partners to understand requirements, prototype solutions, and conduct testing. Participation in sprint planning, ticket estimation, and handling prioritized sprint tickets is expected. The role requires working with partners for UAT and sign-offs, peer reviews, and documenting configurations, processes, and procedures. The engineer will fix and resolve Workday production issues, implement new features, and support cyclic projects and new payroll architectures including third-party integrations. Collaboration with IT, HR, Compensation, and Finance teams is essential to support multi-functional projects related to Payroll and Workday solutions. Providing support and training to end-users on Workday HCM, Talent & Performance modules, recommending strategies for efficient Workday use, and increasing technical knowledge via Workday Community forums are key aspects. The candidate will participate in bi-annual Workday releases reviewing Payroll features, assessing impacts, conducting tests, and recommending implementation strategies. Requirements include 8+ years of dynamic experience in HCM or Payroll applications, 5+ years hands-on Workday configuration experience with Payroll emphasis, deep understanding of Workday payroll architecture and security framework, experience with EIBs for mass transactions, and proficiency in various Workday modules. The role suits someone with strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills, and a solutions architect mindset. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or related fields and Workday certifications in Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Core HCM, or Talent & Performance. $20 hourly + bonus, annual $90K-$100K+
