The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at InMotion Hosting will be responsible for leading and integrating the marketing, product positioning, partnerships, and sales functions to create a cohesive growth engine focused on revenue growth. This includes defining and executing a multi-channel revenue strategy aimed at SMBs, overseeing pricing, segmentation, partnerships, and adapting to market changes and competitor dynamics. The role requires driving end-to-end marketing strategy to accelerate revenue growth by owning and executing high-impact marketing initiatives and aligning cross-functional teams using clear OKRs. The CRO will leverage AI and automation to enhance lead quality, sales cycle efficiency, and campaign ROI while designing and implementing differentiated go-to-market strategies that integrate sales, marketing, and customer success teams. Additionally, the CRO will focus on expanding market reach geographically and vertically, utilizing AI analytics to unlock upsell, cross-sell, and recurring revenue opportunities. A strong sales strategy skillset is necessary to build and lead sales teams to exceed targets, improve conversion rates, and foster a metrics-driven culture. The role also includes operational and financial stewardship by establishing scalable forecasting, pipeline management, and resource allocation processes, monitoring KPIs such as ARR growth, CAC/LTV ratios, churn reduction, and maintaining disciplined budget management for profitability. The CRO will promote a customer-first mindset by partnering with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure feedback informs product development and service delivery, prioritizing retention, advocacy, and long-term partnerships alongside new acquisition. Candidates should have a successful background in subscription revenue and marketing leadership, with experience in scaling marketing strategies for acquisition, retention, and expansion, and aligning brand positioning with go-to-market execution for recurring revenue growth. The role demands integrated growth strategy expertise, leveraging AI-driven tools to identify new revenue streams and accelerate performance across sales, marketing, and customer success.
