We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain PHP integrations specifically for WordPress. This role includes responsibilities for Kinsta’s PHP infrastructure, the Must Use Plugin, and application monitoring systems. You will collaborate with the DevOps team to enhance platform tools with a focus on automation and scalability while ensuring code quality by writing maintainable, secure code. The position requires participation in SysOps tasks during peak times, troubleshooting issues, and improving existing workflows. Ideal candidates should have 3+ years of Linux and PHP development experience, preferably within WordPress projects, and a proactive mindset towards problem-solving. Familiarity with deployment tools like Ansible is a plus, as is experience in web hosting or contributions to the WordPress community.
