Kinsta is a leading managed WordPress hosting company seeking a Head of Sales Development to spearhead its sales development initiatives critical to company growth. The role involves training and coaching the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to generate qualified sales opportunities and booked meetings, developing sales contests and incentives to enhance team performance, and implementing KPI tracking processes. The position requires coordinating with sales, marketing, and revenue operations teams to optimize sales lead workflows and align long-term sales development strategies with company growth objectives. The Head of Sales Development will maintain a collaborative, creative, and professional work environment, support continuous learning and development, and conduct regular coaching and performance reviews to maintain high team productivity and satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include setting and monitoring sales quotas, participating in goal-setting processes (OKRs), collaborating on sales forecasts, attending leadership meetings, and integrating sales development efforts with go-to-market strategies. The role also involves recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new sales team members, and advising on internal promotions and team expansions. Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years of successful outbound sales leadership experience, extensive SaaS sales background, and experience working in hybrid or fully remote settings. Bonus qualifications include WordPress industry experience and familiarity with Hubspot.
