As a Technical SEO Specialist at SiteGround, you will be responsible for managing multi-lingual platform technical SEO configurations including implementing proper URL structures and hreflang tags. You will apply deep technical SEO expertise to ensure search engines can efficiently crawl, index, and understand site content by improving site speed, fixing crawl errors, managing structured data (schema), optimizing URL structures, and enhancing mobile usability. Your role involves creating successful SEO-focused content and link-building strategies with international link-building in mind, acquiring backlinks from reputable, language-specific websites to boost local search rankings. You will research relevant and high-potential keywords to be used throughout the company’s websites and marketing materials, optimize content including web pages, knowledge base articles, blog posts, tutorials for better search rankings and AI discoverability, monitor daily performance SEO and AI visibility metrics to take data-driven actions and identify areas for improvement. You will recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords, work collaboratively with the content team to deliver SEO-optimized content, and partner with a team of SEO professionals to successfully execute SEO optimization strategies. The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on SEO experience in English, technical SEO knowledge including HTML proficiency for SEO purposes, experience with multilingual SEO practices and GEO best practices, implementation of AI visibility best practices, solid experience with link building with external organizations, proficiency with keyword research and data mining tools, and familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.
