Plesk and WHMCS, both part of WebPros, have published their 2027 customer licensing guides, which list higher prices for every tier from January 1, 2027: WHMCS by 11 to 20 percent, with the largest Business tiers at the top of that range, and Plesk by 11.8 to 17.5 percent on a VPS, in dollars. Plesk Web Host also moves to a single price for VPS and dedicated servers. cPanel, another WebPros product, emailed customers its 2027 list on October 8. It takes effect earlier, on December 16, 2026, for existing and new licenses, and raises the four cPanel tiers by 8.3 to 10 percent and the per-account overage by 12.2 percent.

For a host paying for a panel and billing software, the lists combine like this. A Plesk Web Host license for one VPS plus WHMCS Plus for up to 250 clients costs $113.98 a month in 2027, against $97.94 today, by our arithmetic. That is 16.4 percent more. A cPanel Premier license for up to 100 accounts with the same WHMCS tier goes from $104.94 to $116.98, up 11.5 percent.

Key facts

  • WHMCS: Plus goes from $34.95 to $39.99 a month, Professional from $54.95 to $62.99. Business 50,000, 100,000 and Unlimited rise 20 percent.
  • Plesk: Web Admin goes to $18.99, Web Pro to $33.99 and Web Host to $73.99 a month, for VPS and dedicated servers alike.
  • Yearly Plesk billing: a yearly license costs eleven times the monthly price, so a year of Web Host is $813.89.
  • cPanel: from December 16, 2026, Solo costs $32.99, Admin $38.99, Pro $58.99 and Premier $76.99 for 100 accounts, plus $0.55 for each account above that.

WHMCS: The Biggest Customers Pay the Biggest Increase

In dollars, Plus costs $60.48 more a year, and Business Unlimited $4,800.48 more. Every 2027 price ends in .99 instead of .95. The license still upgrades itself automatically when a host reaches its client limit, with the new price applied from the next renewal, unless the host opts out in the WHMCS members area.

Plesk: One Price for VPS and Dedicated

In 2026, Plesk Web Host costs less on a VPS than on a dedicated server. From January 1, 2027, the guide lists one price for both, which turns the same change into very different increases:

Edition2026 VPS2026 dedicated2027, bothChange, VPSChange, dedicated
Web Admin (10 domains)$16.99$16.99$18.99+11.8%+11.8%
Web Pro (30 domains)$29.99$29.99$33.99+13.3%+13.3%

In euros the pattern is the same. Web Admin goes from €14.29 to €15.99, Web Pro from €25.49 to €28.99, and Web Host from €52.99 on a VPS and €59.99 on a dedicated server to €62.99 for both, an 18.9 percent rise on a VPS. The guide also adds Ubuntu 22.04 to Extended Lifecycle Support, Plesk’s paid support program for servers kept on operating systems beyond their standard vendor support, with fees for Ubuntu 22.04 starting July 1, 2027.

cPanel: Smaller Steps, an Earlier Date

On October 1, WebPros emailed cPanel partners under the subject line “I’m sorry, it’s happening again: price increase 2027,” without figures. The numbers followed on October 8 in an email to customers, which applies the new list to existing and new licenses from December 16, 2026:

Tier2026, per month2027 list, per monthChange
Solo (1 account)$29.99$32.99+10.0%
Admin (up to 5)$35.99$38.99+8.3%

The overage, the number that grows with a shared host’s account count, rises the most. A dedicated server with 300 accounts goes from $167.99 to $186.99 a month, up 11.3 percent. On the 2019 baseline we reported on October 5, Solo is now up 120 percent and the overage 175 percent.

The same email reprices add-ons that cPanel resells. Imunify360 goes from $45 to $47.70 and KernelCare from $3 to $3.18, both 6 percent. CloudLinux Shared is listed at $17.81, also 6 percent above the $16.80 that cPanel’s pricing page shows for CloudLinux OS. The email adds that ImunifyAV+ pricing and licensing tiers will change as well, with details in a separate message.

About the Data

The 2027 Plesk and WHMCS figures come from the customer licensing guides that both publish on their websites, valid from January 1, 2027. The cPanel figures come from its October 8 email to customers announcing the list effective December 16, 2026. The 2026 WHMCS prices are from the company’s 2026 guide and pricing page, the 2026 Plesk prices are the post-January 2026 rates in the pricing data on Plesk’s website, and the 2026 cPanel prices are from its pricing page. All prices are retail list prices before tax. Partner prices and volume discounts differ. Percentage changes and example bills are our arithmetic.
