Join us as a Back-End Developer and play a key role in building our SaaS platforms, including SiteBuilder, E-Commerce, and Email Marketing. You’ll focus on crafting responsive user interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with backend services, and creating an intuitive, visually appealing environment for our customers. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality applications by consistently applying best practices and established design patterns to ensure robust and scalable PHP backend applications. You will write clean, testable code and work closely with other members of SiteGround like Product Managers, FrontEnd Developers, QAs, DevOps Engineers. You will constantly challenge and expand your knowledge of reliable software architecture, programming and new technologies, and actively participate in code reviews. Our expectations include a minimum of 2 years of experience with PHP, being comfortable working with GIT, understanding and experience with OOP Paradigm, experience with a relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL or other), and a solid grasp of the HTTP protocol and RESTful API design. A great advantage will be experience with PHP ^8.1, knowledge of SOLID principles, experience with unit testing, experience with Symfony, experience with API Platform, experience in HTML5, CSS3, and a good command of English. Professional certification is also a plus.
