Your key role will be to define and own the technical direction and architecture of the Website Builder product, ensuring reliability, scalability, and long-term sustainability. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and engineering managers, aligning technical decisions with business goals. You will drive best practices in development and infrastructure, including CI/CD, observability, and cloud infrastructure. Your mentorship will guide engineers towards technical excellence, while balancing fast delivery with sustainable building. Responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing system performance. Requirements include 5+ years in software engineering with leadership experience, strong skills in Node.js, Express, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL). Experience with Redis, message queues, event-driven architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and service-based architectures is essential. Knowledge of frontend technologies like Vue.js and Astro is a plus. Strong communication skills and experience with observability tools are required.
