Job Description

Hostinger is a fast-growing company powering over 4 million clients in 150 countries. As a System Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement features that make the hosting platform faster, more reliable, and scalable. You will deploy and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation, monitor systems to understand performance metrics, and improve reliability and alerting to prevent outages. You will collaborate with software, system, and network engineers to create resilient systems, share knowledge, and raise standards. Required skills include 3+ years Linux OS experience, proficiency with Ansible for automation, programming in Python or Go, managing web servers, databases, caching systems, familiarity with cloud environments like GCP, and networking fundamentals. Nice-to-haves are DevOps experience, open-source contributions, CI/CD knowledge, ability to read Go and PHP, and certifications like RHCSA or RHCE. Requirements

  • 3+ years strong Linux OS experience
  • Proficiency with Ansible automation
  • Programming or scripting skills in Python or Go
  • Experience managing web servers, databases, and caching systems
  • Familiarity with cloud environments like GCP
  • Strong networking fundamentals: DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
  • Nice-to-have: DevOps experience, open-source contributions, CI/CD knowledge, ability to read Go and PHP, RHCSA or RHCE certifications
