Responsibilities include designing backend services, optimizing API performance, integrating third-party APIs, and writing tested, scalable code. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and engineers to deliver impactful features and grow from mid-level to senior engineer with mentorship. Required skills include 4+ years experience with Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, message queues (RabbitMQ, BullMQ, GCP PubSub), Kubernetes, Docker, observability tools (Grafana), unit and integration testing (Jest, Mocha), SQL databases, and Git. Nice to have are microservices, performance monitoring, CI/CD, AI tools experience, and Terraform knowledge. Employment type is Full-time with Hybrid work mode options available in Vilnius or Kaunas. Salary ranges from 5,600 to 7,600 EUR/month depending on experience.
