The UDP (Unified Data Publishing) and RTF (Real Time Finance) are production data platforms with zero message loss, fault tolerance, and high availability. As a Software Engineer at GoDaddy, you will have the opportunity to enhance the architecture, propose innovative ideas and solutions, and think creatively within a scrum team. You will collaborate with other specialists, product managers, architects, and operations teams both within and outside the eCommerce group. Required experience includes 3+ years in software engineering, particularly building large-scale distributed applications or solutions, and 1+ years of Cloud experience, preferably AWS. Expertise in the Spring ecosystem (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) and Java is essential. You should be familiar with agile methodologies, focus on code quality, and be willing to adopt test-driven development techniques. Strong independent problem-solving skills and good communication abilities in English are necessary. Additional skills such as proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, writing various test types, implementation of CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker are advantageous. Exposure to AWS services like S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Kinesis, and Python is a plus.
