Join GoDaddy’s CASA team as a Senior Software Engineer and play a key role in designing and building features for a conversational AI assistant that helps small businesses grow. CASA is part of GoDaddy Commerce’s Growth group, focused on driving product adoption and customer retention with smart, contextual guidance. Your role involves collaborating with Product Managers to define and refine feature requirements and designing scalable, maintainable, and observable system architectures. You will write and review high-quality JavaScript/TypeScript code using Node.js and enhance developer workflows while reducing technical debt through team collaboration. Mentoring junior engineers and active participation in agile development processes are key responsibilities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development experience with strong TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+) skills, proficiency in full-stack applications using Node.js, React, GraphQL, and tools like Vite and Zustand, and a solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming patterns. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, CI/CD pipelines, command line tools, shell scripting, and agile methodologies like Scrum is important. Additional qualifications include experience with AWS services (ECS, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CDK), Docker in development and production, LLM tools, structured outputs, function calling for AI-driven features, microservices architecture, product experimentation, and personalization strategies.
