You will work within the Strategic Finance team, which is part of GoDaddy’s Finance Data, Analytics, and Technology division. The mission of Strategic Finance is to leverage business intelligence and financial models to derive actionable insights that drive strategic growth. You will play a crucial role in developing data products that bridge the gap between raw data and strategic actions. A deep understanding of both finance and data analytics is essential, as you will need to translate the needs of financial analysts and business partners into meaningful data structures. Your tasks will involve building custom data structures for rapid analytics and visualization, performing data automation tasks using various tools such as Amazon Redshift, SQL Server, and ETL administration tools. Furthermore, you will optimize workflows and reporting solutions, ensuring adherence to data governance standards as specified by the core data engineering team. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration across teams, transitioning seamlessly between technical database discussions and business-focused conversations regarding customer behavior and financial improvements.
