The Securities Analytics and Products Group at GoDaddy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Go, Python, and Typescript to develop secure software solutions safeguarding GoDaddy’s ecosystem. This remote role involves designing, developing, and maintaining highly available, fault-tolerant microservices deployed on AWS, with responsibilities including extensive unit and integration testing, resolving production issues, and mentoring team members. Candidates should be proficient in AWS services (e.g., EC2, Fargate, Lambda), relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB), CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions. Experience with version control (Git), agile methodologies, and UI frameworks like React or Angular is a plus. The role emphasizes building observability into services with logging, metrics, and traces while collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams. Job requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Go, Python, Typescript
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch)
  • Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases
  • Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
  • Version control expertise (Git preferred)
  • Agile team experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of UI frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus
