Senior Software Engineer – Solutions Consultant – Serbia

At GoDaddy, the Senior Software Engineer – Solutions Consultant role involves building, developing, and implementing custom payment solutions across various platform components. The position requires tackling diverse technical projects using multiple technologies and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance product functionality and fill platform gaps. The candidate will present technical solutions to US-based clients, requiring occasional overlap with North American business hours, acting as a technical consultant to translate client requirements into effective solutions, and conducting product demonstrations and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders. The role entails working internationally with colleagues in Serbia, Spain, Poland, and Ukraine, applying full-stack expertise to complex payment integration challenges, and tailoring GoDaddy’s payment solutions to specific partner needs through implementation and consultation. Providing pre-sales support and technical guidance to prospective clients and partners is also a key responsibility. Experience should include strong full-stack development skills, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern front-end frameworks, backend technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java, knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, third-party integrations, database technologies (SQL & NoSQL), and cloud platforms. Excellent communication skills and comfort with client-facing roles are essential, along with adaptability and the ability to work independently. The candidate must be fluent in English and comfortable with a flexible schedule to accommodate US time zone meetings when necessary. Preferred qualifications include prior experience with payment processing systems or fintech solutions, Android development, technical consulting or client-facing engineering, knowledge of payment security and compliance, remote work experience, and additional language skills.
