Join GoDaddy’s Control Plane horizontal team as a Software Development Manager, responsible for leading and mentoring a team of up to eight software engineers focused on orchestrating and configuring hosting products such as Managed WooCommerce Stores, Managed WordPress, Pagely, and Airo Builder. You will drive engineering excellence by ensuring strong code quality, scalability, reliability, and testability. Your role involves translating complex business needs into straightforward, scalable technical solutions, partnering with cross-functional teams, and leveraging data to enhance product performance and customer experience. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience managing engineering teams and 5 years in software development, with strong front-end and back-end expertise. Experience with AWS, cloud services, containerized architectures, secure coding, and agile practices is highly desirable.
