GoDaddy’s Product Security group is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to address large-scale, cross-company security challenges and help enforce secure development practices. This remote role involves identifying vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure, collaborating with SRE and development teams to reduce vulnerabilities, and building reusable security frameworks. The engineer will promote secure design strategies, conduct threat modeling, secure code reviews, and manage security risks from project kickoff through completion. The position requires a minimum of 5+ years of progressive security engineering experience, expertise across multiple domains such as Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security, and skills in scripting languages including Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell. The candidate should be well-versed in Secure Development Lifecycle and Shift Left methodologies and possess strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or related fields and industry experience in hosting or cloud environments.
